Occupy (Series)

Part Eight

Choose to be Extraordinary

By Rogers Wanambwa

Whenever you go beyond the level everyone around you has been able to reach, forces will try as much as possible to bring you back down. As a spiritual person, I will you tell this, it’s not only the people but unseen entities too.

Nonetheless, you have to be willing to exceed the ordinary to become extraordinary.

As we come to the end of this series, you will realize (at least that you have) that most of what needs to be done will be done by you.

Most everything depends on how much you are willing to put in. The more your input, the greater the output.

It’s that simple as it is hard.
But all in all, the power is in your hands. You will have to choose which path you are willing to take. The ordinary life, or the extraordinary one.

If it is the latter, everything you do will have to exceed everyone else. If you notice this is not the case, then you have not attained greatness yet.

When everyone stops, you will have to continue going, when everyone faints, you will have to continue running the race.

As the rest get demoralized, your exuberance will have to be rejuvenated, by you. As earlier mentioned, I’m a spiritual person so here is where I will suggest enlisting a higher power. God loves doing these things.

Let’s conclude this long conversation by taking one thing away (at least) that we have the power in our hands and should use it accordingly. It’s our duty to do something as the scriptures have already instructed.

Notes:

1. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12.

2. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:30-31

3. By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return. Genesis 3:19
