The Long-awaited Multi-billion Dollar Uganda Oil Project Signed Off

While oil was discovered in Uganda before she attained her independence, it has never been commercially exploited.

This week, an FDI that puts Uganda in the oil producing countries’ category was signed off.

On the Reopening of the Rwanda-Uganda Border

Since 2019, Rwanda had closed the Rwanda-Uganda border, citing various reasons. This week, Rwandan authorities announced that they would be reopening it. Read more here:
