Madly in Love (To the Poet)

Poetry

Your love is a breeze,
Gently soothing,
All my pain away,
The disappointments of ages ago.

It rewrites my story,
The story of my love.
It renews the flow,
The flow of my passion.

Your love is a breeze,
Igniting my poetry,
That had withered with the pain,
The disappointments of ages ago.

It reawakens my heart,
That stopped cold.
It makes my mouth sing,
Your praises in poetry.

To the poet.

Your Love is a Hurricane

Your love is a hurricane.
Disrupting my entire life,
Thundering into my heart,
Roaring into my veins,
And like lightning, electrifying my entire being.

Your dark clouds envelop me,
Bringing me to yet to be named worlds.
I am your field,
Let your love rain on me.

Aboard Life’s Boat

Aboard the boat of life,
We sail towards an unknown destination.
The moon our gracious companion.
Sometimes the sea is calm,
Often the waves roar.
But our voyage proceeds.

I Love Your Smile

You made my day,
Scratch that, my month!
When you sent me that message,
I LOVE YOUR SMILE.

Four words,
That got me blushing!
Do men blush?

You made my day,
When you sent me that message,
I LOVE YOUR SMILE.

Perhaps men should receive such more often,
Then we wouldn’t be overwhelmed by such simple gestures.
